INDIA –Sanofi India (SIL) announced that Rodolfo Hrosz has been appointed as the Company’s new Managing Director, effective June 1, 2022, subject to regulatory approvals.

He will move from his current position as Sanofi’s General Manager, Consumer Healthcare business in Brazil to his new role in India as soon as the necessary regulatory approvals are obtained.

He will take over from Rajaram Narayanan, who resigned from the post with effect from April 10, after an eight-year tenure.

Rodolpho joined Sanofi in 2017 as General Supervisor of the Shopper Healthcare enterprise in Brazil and has successfully led the group through a number of transformative levels, starting from the enterprise unit’s inception to it becoming a high development contributor and a digital-acceleration reference level throughout the Sanofi Group.

Rodolfo brings a wealth of experience from business, advertising and marketing, and general management roles in a number of multinational corporations.

Prior to joining Sanofi, he worked for Pfizer, LVMH, Heineken, and Procter & Gamble in the United States and Brazil.

Other recent appointments making headlines in the Pharmaceutical industry include Pfizer and Moderna, which appointed David Denton and Jorge Gomez respectively as chief financial officers as they both seek to deploy some of the cash generated during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Pfizer, announced that David Denton will take over as CFO on May 2. Mr. Denton has been the finance chief of Lowe’s Cos., a home-improvement retailer, since 2018.

Jorge Gomez’s appointment takes effect from May 9, 2022.
