UGANDA – The International Medical Group has inaugurated an ultra-modern theater at its Medical Centre in Mukono, Uganda to ensure people have access to better healthcare services.

The newly launch theatre in Mukono will address the challenge of Ugandans travelling abroad to seek surgical solutions to their health issues and meet the needs of their patients across the region.

New outpatient department opens at The International Hospital

Meanwhile, The International Hospital (IHK) in Kampala has officially opened its renovated outpatient department to enhance quality healthcare delivery in the region.

The IHK outpatient department has been revamped to improve patient care by providing reliable healthcare and improving process flow as the first point of contact for patients and medical employees.

The outpatient department also provides more space to accommodate patients comfortably and ambience that aligns with the needs and sensibilities of the modern-day client.

It houses various specialties including general surgery, breast health and breast surgery, orthopedics, neurosurgery, ENT surgery and urology.

The health unit also offers services such as cardiology, nephrology, ophthalmology, nutrition, plastic surgery and reconstructive, pediatrics and among other services.

The International Medical Group CEO Shukmeet Sandhu confirmed that the outpatient department is suitable for minor surgical procedures and has access to a wide range of doctors and medicines.

He added that the unit is ideal for accident-related emergencies and will curate a database of medical history and research depending on the frequency of one’s visits.

Additionally, the department will serve as a training ground for medical, para-medical, nursing staff and future doctors as well as offer improved client experience.
