INDIA – Orange Health, a technology-led health tech startup based in India, has announced senior leadership changes to support its growth journey towards profitability in the diagnostics space.

Bengaluru-based Orange Health has appointed five experienced executives to join its leadership team as it prepares for the next phase of growth.

Orange Health has made leadership changes in several key business segments, including the appointment of Bhargav to lead its Marketing unit, Anmol Bajaj to lead its Partnerships & Corporates division, and Ajay Rajendran as the new Head of Product.

Bhargav is an Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIM Ahmedabad) alumnus who has worked at online store company Flipkart and Cadbury across sales, branding, and marketing domains before joining Orange Health.

Commenting on his appointment, Bhargav, Head of Marketing, underscored that in the healthcare industry particularly in Diagnostics, ensuring accurate results with speed and transparency is the key to building a strong consumer brand.”

On the other hand, Orange Health has selected Rajendra Talekar as the Head of Engineering while Johan D’souza takes over as the Head of Finance to further strengthen the leadership bench.

With the onboarding of these five experienced executives, Orange Health further cements its position as one of the top health-tech start-ups building India’s fastest diagnostic lab service.

The key executives will build upon Orange Health’s purpose of delivering high-quality, reliable “on-demand” diagnostics services coupled with great customer experience right at one’s doorstep.

Launched in Dec 2020 by Dhruv Gupta and Tarun Bhambra, Orange Health is an on-demand diagnostics service for Indian consumers that enables convenience, reliability, and overall better healthcare outcomes.

The Indian company has provided diagnostic testing services to over 1 million customers across Bengaluru, New Delhi, Gurgaon, Noida, and Hyderabad.

In a joint statement, Dhruv Gupta and Tarun Bhambra, Co-Founders of Orange Health, said: “As founders of Orange Health, we believe that a team is only as strong as its members.”

They outlined that the newly appointed leaders will play a key role in driving performance transformation to enable them to build a stronger, scalable, and resilient business.

In addition, the Co-Founders of Orange Health reaffirmed their intentions to expand the company’s footprint and business.

 “We will continue to look for high-quality talent across our leadership and management roles,” they added.

Moreover, Orange Health recently raised US$25 million in a Series B funding round that will be deployed towards deeper investment in product development as well as technology across systems, user experience, and building world-class laboratories.
