UAE – Integrated healthcare provider Aster DM Healthcare has extended its services in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region with the launch of its latest full-fledged version of myAster app in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

In July 2022, Aster DM Healthcare launched a beta version of its application as a one-stop digital healthcare platform for patients, offering a single-point access to a comprehensive range of healthcare services.

Aster DM Healthcare said in an official statement: “The myAster app now ranks as No.1 top-free medical app on the App Store and Play Store, touching over a million lives, due to its huge acceptance among patients.”

myAster app is the GCC region’s first integrated healthcare platform providing access to hospitals, clinics, diagnostic centers, and pharmacies and it provides seamless access to the full spectrum of Aster healthcare services.

According to the Company’s statement, myAster app now allows citizens across the GCC region to connect with the group’s hospitals, particularly its users have access to 200+ Aster hospital doctors for appointment booking.

Patients can use the app for a range of services such as appointment booking, consulting doctors online or in-person, accessing prescriptions, scans, medical records, and order medicines online; delivered to their homes with the touch of a button,” Aster DM Healthcare announced.

The healthcare provider claimed that its latest full-fledged version of myAster app has key features including booking appointments from among 430 doctors across five hospitals, 48 clinics, and over 20 medical specialties.

In addition, the application allows video consultations, online payments through a secure gateway, access to the online pharmacy with doctor prescriptions delivered to homes within 90 minutes, and order health and wellness essentials online as well as to avail offers and deals.

The myAster app, supported by a fully functional help center comes with an inbuilt automatic insurance integration and approval and features such as storage for patients to save and keep records of all healthcare documents for the entire family on the digital platform,” Aster DM said.

The medical care giant assured patients that the innovative platform is designed with transparency at its core. Its easy-to-use interface allows users to view doctor schedules and slots to select a doctor for consultation.

Mr. Brandon Rowberry, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Digital Health at Aster DM Healthcare, said: “We are launching our Instant GP feature enabling our users to video consult with a General Practitioner in as early as 30 minutes.”

He disclosed that they have plans to add Homecare services to the myAster app in the near future, noting that it is part of Aster’s commitment to providing equitable, unbiased access to world-class medical care.
