EGYPT – Egyptian hospital chain Alameda Healthcare has signed a collaboration agreement with the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) for advancing healthcare service delivery.
The signing ceremony was presided over by Dr. Fahad Khater, Chairman of Alameda Healthcare, and Prof. Hossam Hosny Masousd, Secretary General of The High Committee of Medical Specialties.
In an official statement, Alameda Healthcare said: “Under this protocol, our hospitals will be hosting the medical training sessions of eligible doctors under the supervision of our highly experienced group of medical professionals.”
The high-end healthcare organization pointed out that the partnership will ensure Egyptian doctors find unlimited opportunities to learn alongside some of the greatest consultants and top doctors in the country, who serve at Alameda.
“Egyptian doctors will be supported in different technical and practical training sessions encompassing various medical specialties,” Alameda Healthcare stated.
In addition, the partnership will play a central role in the organizational transformation of the healthcare sector by uplifting the doctors’ medical proficiency to provide high-quality medical services to patients in Egypt.
“We are delighted to announce our latest collaboration with the Ministry of Health & Population – Egypt as we extend the services of our international medical experts to public hospitals,” the Cairo-based organization announced.

The hospital chain noted that the agreement will allow its foreign medical experts to spend one or two days in government hospitals across Egypt to perform delicate and critical surgeries at no cost, under the agreement between Egypt’s Health Ministry and private-sector healthcare firms.
Moreover, the cooperation protocol with Ministry of Health and Population involves other private-sector healthcare providers, including Alpha Cure, Cleopatra Hospitals Group, and Saudi German Health Centers.
The agreement between the health ministry and the private sector’s healthcare providers in Egypt is part of the government plan to improve the quality of health services provided to citizens while boosting medical tourism in the country.
In addition, it will build on ongoing efforts of the Egyptian health ministry in reducing government expenditures for treatment abroad at state expense and easing the burden on patients who receive treatment abroad at their own expense.
